Drexel Fountain

There is this beautiful fountain in Hyde Park, Chicago that I drive past a lot.

I don't know who it is by. There is no placard.

It is made of copper and has a lovely patina.

It is my favorite fountain in Chicago.

I found this postcard picture circa 1910.

It has stood up well over the years.
