A great steak

I think Gordon Ramsay is nothing short of an artist. I have admirred him as a chef for some time. He is the perfect blend of mechanical autocrat and culinary explorer. And I think he is a very fair person.

I like his American shows, Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen. And I got the following clip from his British Show, The F Word.


I just tried this recipe and it F-ing rocks.

 I couldn't leave well enough alone, though. I added corriander to the seasoning and I didn't have rosemary. This was awesome. I want to try it with a red wine marinade of about 10 minutes.

Oh, also. Gordon failed to mention (at least in this cropped clip) that the steal should sit out for like 20 minutes to get to room temperature. That pan is too be really smoking hot. If the meat is too cold in the center, the juices won't mingle enough.
